Buplex Junior Feaver and Pain Relief contains ibuprofen, which is a painkiller and anti-inflammatory, for babies, toddlers and children aged from 3 months to 12 years This medication helps in relieving pain from such ailments as toothache, sore throats, earaches and general aches and pains. This medicine also reduces high temperatures and fevers. 

Who can use?

This medicine can be used on babies and toddlers and children 3 months to 12 years.

How to use?

Babies 3 – 6 months (and over 5kg) give 2.5ml. Maximum of 3 doses in 24 hours.

Babies 6 – 12 months (weighing between 7 – 10 kg) give 2.5 ml. Maximum of 4 doses in 24 hours.

Toddlers 1 –  4 years (weighing 10 – 15kg), give 5ml. Maximum of 3 doses in 24 hours.

Children 4 – 7 years (weighing   15 – 20kg), give 7.5ml. Maximum of 3 doses in 24 hours.

Children 7 – 10 years (weighing 20 – 30kg), give 10ml. Maximum of 3 doses in 24 hours.

Children 10 years and over (weighing 30 – 40kg), give 15ml. Maximum of 3 doses in 24 hours.

Never give more than the recommended dosage in any 24 hours.

If you are pregnant or breast-feeding.

If you are pregnant or trying to become pregnant, it is not recommended that you take this medication unless under the guidance of your doctor.

Common side effects.

May cause slight stomach upset. Taking this medication after food can help minimise this.
