Who can use?
Day Nurse can be used by adults and children aged over 12 years old.
How to use?
Adults and Children Over 12 Years Old
- Take two capsules every 4 hours if required
- Maxium of eight capsules in a 24 hour period
- Do not drink alcohol when taking Day Nurse Capsules
Do not take Day Nurse if any of the following apply
- If you have ever had an allergic reaction to paracetamol, pholcodine, pseudoephedrine or any of the other ingredients.
- If you have severe high blood pressure, severe heart disease, sever liver disease or severe kidney disease
- If you have difficulty breathing or lung problems
- If you are taking apetite suppressant drugs or stimulant drugs
- If you have taken monoamine oxidase inhibitors (MAOIs) in the last two weeks
If you are pregnant or breast-feeding.
Do not take Day Nurse Capsules if you are pregnant or if you are breastfeeding.
Possible side effects
This medication can have side-effects, like all medicines, although these are usually mild and do not affect everyone. If you experience any side-effects, please talk to your doctor.
Immediate medical advice should be sought in the event of an overdose, even if you feel well.
Do not drive or operare machinery if this medication makes you feel dizzy or drowsy.
KEEP ALL MEDICINES OUT OF THE EACH OF CHILDREN.
READ THE PATIENT LEAFLET BEFORE TAKING THIS MEDICATION.
CONTAINS PARACETAMOL. DO NOT TAKE WITH ANY OTHER PARACETAMOL CONTAINING PRODUCTS.
