Anhydrous lactose, Stearic acid Microcrystalline cellulose, Colloidal anhydrous silica, Maize starch.

What Are Nytol Tablets Used For?

Nytol Tablets conmtain Diphenhydramine, which is a type of antihistamine which can make you sleepy or drowsy. Nytol can be used to relieve temporary sleeping difficulties, due to causes such as stress, jet lag, at times of personal problems. Nytil can help people fall asleep faster and have a better, deeper sleep.

How To Take Nytol Tablets

  • Take 1 single tablet 20 minutes before bedtime
  • Do not take extra tablets if you wake up in the night
  • If  you do not feel better after 7 days use, or if you feel worse, you must talk to your doctor.
  • Do not drive or operate machinery for 8 hours after taking Nytol

Do Not Take Nytol Tablets If Any Of The Following Apply

  • If you have ever had an allergic reaction to diphenhydramine or any of the other ingredients
  • If you have an obstruction in your stomach or gut
  • If you have phaeochromocytoma
  • If you know you have a problem with QT Interval Prolongation (heart rate) or are taking medicines for heart rhythm problems or that can affect heart rhythm
  • If you have or have had cardiovascular disease or if your heart rate is very low
  • If you have low salt levels in your body (sodiuum or magnesium)

Pregnancy and Breastfeeding

Nytol tablets should not be taken when pregnant or when breastfeeding.

Possible Side Effects

The most common side effects (up to 1 in 10) when taking Nytol are: tiredness, drowsiness, reduced attention, unsteadiness, dizziness and dry mouth. If you notice any side effects, you should talk to your GP or pharmacist.
