Clarityn is an anti-allergy medicine. It helps control your allergic reaction and its symptoms. It is also used to relieve symptoms such as itching and hives.
Who can take ?
Clarityn is suitable for adults and children over the age of 2 years.
How to take ?
Adults and children over 12 years of age and weighing more than 30 kg: take 1 tablet once a day.
Children 2-12 years and weighing more than 30 kg: take one tablet once a day.
Children 2-12 years and weighing less than 30 kg: take half a tablet once a day.
Clarityn should not be given to children under the age of 2 years.
If you are pregnant
Clarityn should not be used during pregnancy or breastfeeding.
Driving and using machinery
Clarityn is a non-drowsy drug in most people that take this medication. However, if you drive or operate machinery or take part in hazardous activities while taking this medication, you should closely observe your response to the drug.
Common side effects
Children: headache, nervousness and tiredness (fatigue).
Adults: sleepiness, headache, increased appetite and difficulty in sleeping.
