Using Calpol for your child
Calpol contains paracetamol to relieve pain and reduce a high temperature. Choosing the right product matters: the Infant suspension is for babies from 2 months (dosing depends on age and weight — and for very young babies is often linked to after their vaccinations), while Calpol Six Plus is for older children. Always use the measuring device provided, never give more than the stated dose, and don't combine with other paracetamol-containing products.
