What's the difference between eau de parfum and eau de toilette?

Eau de parfum (EDP) has a higher concentration of perfume oils, so it usually smells richer and lasts longer on the skin. Eau de toilette (EDT) is lighter and fresher, which suits daytime and warmer weather. Body mists are lighter again.

How can I make a fragrance last longer?

Apply it to moisturised skin just after a shower, on pulse points such as the wrists, neck and inner elbows. Don't rub your wrists together, as this breaks down the top notes. Keep bottles out of sunlight and away from heat.

How do I choose a perfume as a gift?

If you know a scent she already wears, you can't go wrong. Otherwise think about what she likes: fresh and citrus, floral, or warm and sweet. A gift set or a body mist is a lower-risk way to try something new.
