Doublebase Emollient Gel can be used as often as needed to treat and prevent dry skin. Here are some tips to help get the best results when moisturising with Doublebase Gel.

  • Always smooth the gel into the skin in the direction of hair growth, you don't need to keep rubbing over.
  • Stop when the skin looks shiny and let Doublebase Gel sink in.
  • Use throughout the day, every day.
  • Doublebase Gel can be applied before washing or showering to help prevent further dying of skin.

Why Is Doublebase Gell Different To Other Moisturisers?

Traditional ointments are based on oils/fats and stay longer on the surface of the skin. While they offer good moisturisation, ointments often are very greasy and can soil clothing and bedding

Traditional creams are based on emulsions of oil and water and they are more absorbed into the skin than ointments and have less of a moisturising barrier. Creams can also be rmeoved easier by sweating and washing, so they need regular application.

Doublebase Emollient Gel brings oil and water emulsion in a gel formulation. The product is reaily absorbed so leads to less greasiness on the skin surface. howveer when absorbed the gle formulation allows separation of the oil phase withinthe skin stricture. this gives a prolonged protection against dryness and increase hydration of the skin.
