A rapid test for the detection of Influenza virus type A and type B antigens directly from a nasal swab specimen.

Kit contains the following

Test cassette
Tube holder
Disposable swab
Extraction buffer tube (pre-filled)
Package insert of instructions
Waste bag

How To Use

Specimen Collection

Insert the absorbent tip of the swab into the nostril 1.5-2.5cm
Rotate the swab five times, brushing against the inside of the nostril
Remove swab and repeat in other nostril

Sample Preparation

Remove aluminium foil
Insert swab into tube and swirl for 30 seconds
Rotate swab five times while squeezing side of the tube
Remove swab while squeezing tube

Running The Test

Apply four drops of processed specimen to the sample well
Wait 15-20 minutes
Positive Result is a line in Control (C) and either A or B
Negative Test is a line in Control (C) only
Invalid Test is if no line appears in Control (C)
