How To Use Lacri-Lube Eye Ointment

Add a small amount of ointment to the lower eye lid and repeat at intervals as you feel the need.

For best reslts, we recommend applying Lacri-Lube Eye ointment in the following way:

1. Wash your hands.
2. Twist-off the cap without applying pressure to the tube sides.
3. Do not allow the tube nozzle to touch your eye or any other surface.
4. Pull-down the lower lid of the affected eye(s) to form a pocket.
5. Gently squeeze a small strip of ointment into this eye pocket.
6. Replace cap.
7. Repeat steps 1 to 6 at intervals as you feel the need.

Driving and Using Machinery

Lacri-Lube may cause short lasting blurring of vision (1-15 minutes). If affected do not use electric tools/machinery or drive until vision has returned to normal.

Using Other eye medicines With Lacri-Lube Eye Ointment

If you are currently using (or are planning to use) any other medication

to treat an eye condition then you should first apply your other eye medication and then allow a gap of at least 5 minutes before using Lacri-Lube.

Lacri-Lube should always be the last medicine you apply to your eye.

Possible side effects

Your eyes may sting a little or become slightly blurry when the drops are put in. These effects will wear off within a few minutes. If you get any other side effects, talk to your doctor, pharmacist or nurse.
