How to Take to Treat Kidney Stones

Always take Rowatinex exactly as described in the patient leaflet or as your doctor or pharmacist has advised. Do not take Rowatinex for treatment of urinary stones unless your doctor has confirmed a

diagnosis of urinary stones especially in the case of children.

• Adults: Take 1 capsule 4 to 5 times daily, before meals.
• Children (6–14 years): Take 1 to 2 capsules twice daily, before meals.
• Adolescents (14–18 years): Take 1 capsule 4 to 5 times daily, before meals.
• Administration: Swallow the capsule whole with a drink of water. Do not bite or chew the capsules.
• Note: Not recommended for children under 6 years of age as no data is available.
• Storage:Do not store above 25°C.Keep the container tightly closed.

Important Safety Information

Who Should NOT take Rowatinex?

Do not take Rowatinex if you:

• Have not had a diagnosis confirmed by a doctor. Do not use for urinary stones unless a doctor has confirmed the diagnosis, especially for children.
• Are allergic to α-pinene, β-pinene, camphene, borneol, anethol, fenchone, cineole, or any other ingredients.
• Have a known sensitivity to Sunset Yellow (E110) or parahydroxybenzoates (E215, E217), which may cause allergic reactions.

Talk to your doctor or pharmacist before taking if:

• You are taking blood-thinning medicines (oral anticoagulants like warfarin).
• You are taking any medicines that are broken down by the liver.
• You are pregnant or breastfeeding.

Possible Side Effects

While not everyone experiences them, side effects can occur. Allergic reactions may be triggered by certain additives in the capsule shell, such as Sunset Yellow FCF (E110), sodium ethyl parahydroxybenzoate (E215), and sodium propyl Parahydroxybenzoate (E217).

The active substances in one gastro-resistant capsule, soft are 24.8 mg a-pinene, 6.2 mg ß-pinene, 15.0 mg camphene, 10.0 mg borneol, 4.0 mg anethol, 4.0 mg fenchone, 3.0 mg cineole.

The other ingredient is Virgin Olive Oil.

The capsule shell contains gelatine, glycerol 85%, sodium ethyl parahydroxybenzoate (E215), sodium propyl parahydroxybenzoate (E217), sunset yellow FCF 85% (E110), quinoline yellow 70% (E104).
