• Adults and children aged 12 and over: take one tablet a day with water, before a meal.
• If you stop taking it early, your symptoms may come back. Tell your doctor before stopping early.
• If you take an indigestion remedy containing aluminium or magnesium, leave about 2 hours between it and Fexo Allergy Relief.
• Talk to your doctor or pharmacist if you don't feel better, or you feel worse.
• Not for children under 12.

Who should not use it

Do not take Fexo Allergy Relief if you are allergic to fexofenadine or any of the other ingredients. Not for children under 12.

Warnings & precautions

Talk to your doctor or pharmacist before taking it if you have liver or kidney problems, have or have had heart disease (it can cause a fast or irregular heartbeat), or are elderly. Tell them about any other medicines you take, especially apalutamide (its effect on fexofenadine may be reduced), and erythromycin, ketoconazole or lopinavir with ritonavir (these can raise fexofenadine levels and side effects). It is unlikely to affect driving, but check that it doesn't make you sleepy or dizzy before you drive or use machinery.

Pregnancy & breastfeeding

Do not take Fexo Allergy Relief if you are pregnant; your doctor will decide if it is necessary. It is not recommended while breastfeeding.

Possible side effects

Common: headache, drowsiness, feeling sick and dizziness. Uncommon: tiredness and sleepiness. Also reported: difficulty sleeping or other sleep problems, bad dreams, nervousness, a fast or irregular heartbeat, diarrhoea, rash, itching and hives. Stop taking it and get medical help straight away if you have swelling of the face, lips, tongue or throat, difficulty breathing, chest tightness or flushing.

Fexofenadine hydrochloride 120mg per tablet. Essentially sodium-free.

Other ingredients: microcrystalline cellulose, croscarmellose sodium, maize starch, povidone and magnesium stearate (core); hypromellose (E464), titanium dioxide (E171), macrogol 400, macrogol 4000 and iron oxides (E172) (coating).
