How to Use Anusol Suppositories

For the best results, consistency is key. Always wash your hands before and after use.

1. Preparation: Ideally, use the suppository after a bowel movement.
2. Positioning: Gently wash and dry the anal area. Remove the plastic cover from the suppository.
3. Insertion: Lie on your side with your knees pulled up or stand with one leg raised. Gently insert the suppository (pointed end first) into the anus.
4. Dosage: For adults, insert one suppository in the morning, one at night, and one after each bowel movement.
5. Maximum Dose: Do not use more than 4 suppositories in a 24-hour period.

How long does it take for Anusol to work?

Many users feel a soothing effect almost immediately after insertion. However, to significantly reduce swelling and see a full improvement in symptoms, it is usually recommended to use the product consistently for several days. If symptoms do not improve within 7 days, you should consult your doctor.

Can I use Anusol during pregnancy?
