• Take by mouth using the measuring device provided.
• Adults and children aged 6 and over usually take 10mg once a day, reduced to 5mg for milder symptoms.
• Children aged 2 to 6 take a lower dose - check the leaflet.
• A reduced dose applies if you have kidney problems.

Who should not use it

Do not use if you are allergic to cetirizine, hydroxyzine or piperazine derivatives, or any of the ingredients, or if you have severe kidney disease (without medical advice).

Warnings & precautions

Check the leaflet for excipients such as sorbitol if you have a sugar intolerance. A reduced dose is needed with kidney problems. Avoid alcohol, and take care driving or using machines until you know how it affects you.

Drowsiness, dry mouth, headache, dizziness, tiredness and tummy upset.
