Location: Burnfoot, Co. Donegal – Onsite
Salary: €33,000–€38,000, depending on experience
Position: Full-Time
Closing date: Friday 25 September 2026
We are looking for an ambitious and detail-oriented E-Commerce Executive to join our growing digital team at Inish Pharmacy.
Inish Pharmacy is an established pharmacy business with a significant and growing e-commerce operation. Our customers are at the heart of what we do, with Service, Care and Trust central to how we operate both in our pharmacies and online.
You will be joining a small, ambitious and forward-thinking team, working closely with our E-Commerce Lead and the wider team, while gaining hands-on exposure across a broad range of e-commerce activity.
The role will have a particular focus on online merchandising, product content, SEO, analytics and conversion, helping shape how our products are found, presented and ultimately purchased online.
For someone looking to develop their career in e-commerce, this is an opportunity to learn quickly, work in a dynamic and growing environment, see the impact of your work and take on increasing responsibility as the business continues to grow.
The Role
A key focus of the role will be online merchandising – ensuring that our products, brands and categories are presented effectively and that customers can easily find the products they are looking for.
You will work across product content, website merchandising and performance analysis, helping us continually improve the online customer experience while supporting the commercial performance of the website.
Our focus is not simply on selling products, but on making it easier for customers to find the right products, access clear and trustworthy information and receive a consistently high standard of service.
Your responsibilities will include:
-
Creating and improving high-quality product descriptions and website content that are clear, engaging, accurate and commercially focused.
-
Merchandising products, brands and categories across our e-commerce website.
-
Helping optimise product content for search engines and on-site search, improving how products are discovered by customers.
-
Reviewing product information, imagery, categorisation and other website content to maintain a consistently high standard.
-
Supporting the launch and merchandising of new products, brands and ranges.
-
Using website and sales data to understand customer behaviour and identify opportunities to improve product discovery and conversion.
-
Monitoring the performance of products, categories and merchandising activity.
-
Working with the wider e-commerce team and external agencies on campaigns, promotions and ongoing website improvements.
-
Contributing to social media planning and content as part of the wider e-commerce and digital marketing activity.
-
Identifying opportunities to improve the customer journey and overall online shopping experience.
-
Supporting a variety of e-commerce projects as the business and role continue to develop.
About You
We are looking for someone who is curious, commercially minded and keen to build their career in e-commerce.
Previous e-commerce experience would be desirable, but it is not essential. We would also be interested in candidates with a background in digital marketing, marketing, content or a related area who are keen to develop their e-commerce expertise.
You should have:
-
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
-
Strong attention to detail.
-
An analytical mindset and an interest in understanding what drives online performance.
-
Good organisational skills and the ability to manage a number of priorities.
-
A willingness to learn, ask questions and take ownership of your work.
-
An interest in e-commerce, digital marketing and the online customer experience.
-
A strong customer focus and an appreciation of the importance of Service, Care and Trust.
-
The ability to work collaboratively as part of a small, high-achieving team.
Experience or Knowledge That Would Be Beneficial
Experience or knowledge of any of the following would be particularly beneficial:
-
Shopify or another e-commerce platform.
-
SEO and search optimisation.
-
Google Analytics or other web analytics tools.
-
Online merchandising.
-
Product copywriting or content creation.
-
Digital marketing.
Why Join Us?
You will be joining a growing e-commerce business where digital is a significant part of what we do, rather than a small support function within the wider organisation.
Because we operate with a relatively small and experienced team, you will have the opportunity to work closely with senior members of the business, contribute ideas and gain exposure to many different areas of e-commerce.
This is a role where you can see the impact of your work, develop a broad range of skills and gradually take on greater ownership and responsibility.
For the right person, there will be genuine opportunities to grow your skills, responsibilities and career alongside the continued growth of the business.

The role is based onsite at our Burnfoot, Co. Donegal location.
