Benylin Chesty Cough Syrup Non-Drowsy 125ml

• Adults and children 12 years and over: two 5ml spoonfuls (10ml) four times a day (every 4-6 hours).
• Do not take more than 4 doses in 24 hours.
• Not suitable for children under 12 years.
• For short-term use. If symptoms persist, talk to your doctor or pharmacist.

Do not use if you are allergic to any of the ingredients, or for children under 12.

Warnings & precautions

Talk to your doctor or pharmacist before use if you have liver or kidney problems, a cough that has lasted a few weeks or that may be caused by asthma, or a cough that brings up a lot of phlegm, or if you have been told you have an intolerance to some sugars. It contains sugars, a small amount of alcohol, sodium and the colour Ponceau 4R (E124), which may cause allergic reactions. Avoid alcohol.

Ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before use if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.

Possible side effects

Side effects are usually mild and can include stomach upset or nausea. Stop use and seek advice if you have an allergic reaction.
