Curanail 5% W/V Amorolfine Medicated Anti Fungal Nail Treatment

How Should Curanail Be Used?

• Curanail should be used once per week
• File down the area of the nail with fungal infection
• Clean the nail surface using one of the cleaning swabs
• Apply the nail lacquer over the entire nail surface
• Allow to dry for approximately 3 minutes
• Repeat every 7 days
• Treatment may take 6 months for fingernails or 9 months for toenails
• Do not reuse the nail files for healthy nails.
• Before each new application, remove any remaining lacquer, file the affected nails if required and swab.
• When working with organic solvents (thinners, white spirit, etc.) wear gloves to protect the Curanail varnish layer on the nails. 
• Ordinary nail lacquer or other cosmetic products should not be applied on treated nails.

Who should not use Curanail?

Do not use if you are under 18, allergic to amorolfine or any ingredient, or pregnant, possibly pregnant or breastfeeding.

Do not apply to the skin around the nail. See a doctor first if you have diabetes, poor circulation or a weakened immune system, or if the nail is damaged, painful or inflamed.

Warnings & precautions

Avoid contact with the eyes, ears and mucous membranes. Contains ethanol - it is flammable, so keep away from flames, lit cigarettes and hairdryers. Do not use artificial nails during treatment; cosmetic nail varnish can be used, but wait at least 10 minutes after applying Curanail.

Pregnancy & breastfeeding

Do not use.

Possible side effects

Uncommon - nail problems such as discolouration, brittle or broken nails, and occasional burning at the site. Rarely, an allergic reaction - stop use, remove the lacquer and seek urgent advice.
