• Dissolve the contents of one sachet in a glass of water and drink, once a day, preferably with a meal.
• It is for ongoing symptom relief, not for sudden (acute) pain.
• Relief may take several weeks; if there is no improvement after 2 to 3 months, review with your doctor.
• Not for anyone under 18.

Who should not use it

Do not use if you are allergic to glucosamine or any ingredient, if you are allergic to shellfish (glucosamine is made from shellfish), if you have severe liver or kidney problems, or if you are under 18. Tell your pharmacist if you are on a controlled-sodium diet.

Warnings & precautions

Tell your doctor or pharmacist if you have diabetes, asthma, or risk factors for heart disease, or if you take warfarin or another coumarin anticoagulant (glucosamine may increase its effect - extra monitoring may be needed). A doctor should first confirm the diagnosis and rule out other joint conditions.

Pregnancy & breastfeeding

Not recommended - do not use during pregnancy or breastfeeding.

Possible side effects

Nausea, indigestion, diarrhoea, headache or tiredness. Rarely, allergic reactions.
