Dr Wolff’s V-san Protective Ointment is a specially formulated skin-care ointment designed to protect and soothe the external intimate area. Ideal for women who experience irritation, soreness or chafing due to moisture, friction or discharge, this protective ointment helps maintain healthy skin and prevent discomfort before it starts.

Developed with a blend of natural oils, waxes and soothing plant-derived substances,  including components similar to those found in oats and chamomile, this ointment forms a gentle, breathable protective barrier that keeps irritants away while still allowing the skin to “breathe.” 

  • Protects skin against moisture, friction and irritation in the external genital and anal area.
  • Soothes and calms already irritated or sore skin.
  • Breathable formula helps prevent moisture build-up under the skin’s surface.
  • Free from mineral oils and silicones, with naturally derived calming substances

How to use

A thin layer of the ointment is applied to and spread on the regularly affected areas in the external genital area. A pea-sized amount in the front and in the rear genital area is fully sufficient, for example. The ointment can be applied 1–2 times a day, more frequently if required. Application is recommended, especially

  • AFTER washing
  • AFTER using toilet paper
  • around the anus BEFORE and AFTER a bowel movement
  • BEFORE sporting activities

Dr. Wolff's V-san Protective Ointment can also be used in the external genital area during menstruation.

Active Ingredients

Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Cocoglycerides, Aqua, Octyldodecyl Myristate, Oleyl Erucate, Acacia Decurrens/Jojoba/Sunflower Seed Cera/Polyglyceryl-3 Esters, Glyceryl Stearate, Hydrogenated Castor Oil, Glyceryl Dibehenate, Glyceryl Behenate, Tribehenin, Benzyl Alcohol, Butylene Glycol, Pentylene Glycol, Bisabolol, Hydroxyphenyl Propamidobenzoic Acid, Tocopherol, Zingiber Officinale Root Extract, Ascorbyl Palmitate.

The ointment does not contain mineral oils, silicones and zinc oxide.
