Gaviscon Chewable Tablet Peppermint 24 Pack

• Adults and children aged 12 years and over: chew two to four tablets after meals and at bedtime, up to four times a day.
• Not for children under 12 years except on the advice of a doctor.
• Do not take this medicine within two hours of taking any other medicine.
• See your doctor if your symptoms persist after 7 days.

Do not take these tablets if you are allergic to any of the ingredients.

Warnings & precautions

The maximum daily dose contains 1,012mg of sodium - talk to your pharmacist first if you are on a low-sodium diet or have kidney or heart problems. Each tablet contains 3.75mg of aspartame, a source of phenylalanine, which may be harmful if you have phenylketonuria (PKU). Antacids can stop other medicines being absorbed properly, so leave a two-hour gap.

Pregnancy & breastfeeding

You can take this product if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.

Possible side effects

Very rarely an allergic reaction - skin rash, itching, difficulty breathing, dizziness or swelling. Stop taking the product and consult your doctor immediately if this happens.

Each chewable tablet contains sodium alginate 250mg, sodium hydrogen carbonate 133.5mg and calcium carbonate 80mg. Also contains aspartame (a source of phenylalanine) and mannitol (E421).
