Gaviscon Extra Chewable Tablet Mint 48 Pack

• Chew the tablets thoroughly. Adults and children 12 years and over: 2-4 tablets after meals and at bedtime, up to four times a day.
• Children under 12 years: only on the advice of a doctor.
• If symptoms persist after 7 days, talk to your doctor.

Who should not use it

Do not use if you are allergic to sodium alginate, sodium bicarbonate, calcium carbonate or any of the ingredients.

Warnings & precautions

This product is high in sodium - take this into account if you are on a low-salt diet or have heart or kidney problems. It also contains calcium; take care if you have high calcium levels or a history of kidney stones. It contains aspartame (a source of phenylalanine), which is unsuitable if you have phenylketonuria (PKU), and the colour carmoisine (E122), which may cause allergic reactions. See your doctor if you are over 40 and have new or recently changed heartburn or indigestion.

Pregnancy & breastfeeding

Can be used during pregnancy and breastfeeding.

Possible side effects

Side effects are rare but can include an allergic reaction to the ingredients, such as a rash or wheezing. Taking more than needed may cause bloating or stomach discomfort.

Each chewable tablet contains sodium alginate 250mg, sodium bicarbonate 106.5mg and calcium carbonate 187.5mg. Contains aspartame (E951, a source of phenylalanine) and carmoisine (E122).
