Nurofen Ibuprofen Rapid Relief Liquid Capsules 200mg- 24 Capsules

• Swallow the capsules whole with water, with or just after food. Do not chew.
• Adults, the elderly and children 12 years and over (over 40kg): take 2 capsules, then if needed 1-2 capsules every 4 hours. Do not take more than 6 capsules (1200mg) in 24 hours.
• Not suitable for children under 12 years.
• For short-term use. Use the lowest dose for the shortest time. If symptoms last more than 3 days or get worse, stop and see your doctor.
• Do not take with other ibuprofen or NSAID medicines.

Who should not use it

Do not use if you are allergic to ibuprofen, aspirin or other anti-inflammatory painkillers (NSAIDs) or any of the ingredients; if you have ever had wheezing, asthma, a runny nose, rash or swelling after taking these medicines; if you have (or have had) stomach ulcer, bleeding or perforation; if you have severe heart, liver or kidney failure; if you are in the last three months of pregnancy; or if you are under 12 years of age.

Warnings & precautions

Talk to your doctor or pharmacist before use if you have heart, liver or kidney problems, high blood pressure, asthma, or a history of stomach problems, or if you take blood thinners, low-dose aspirin or other painkillers. Anti-inflammatory painkillers carry a small increased risk of heart attack or stroke, especially at high doses or with long-term use. Take with food to reduce stomach upset.

Pregnancy & breastfeeding

Avoid during pregnancy - it must not be used in the last three months, and should only be used earlier on medical advice. Ask your doctor or pharmacist before use if you are breastfeeding.

Possible side effects

The most common are stomach-related - indigestion, nausea or tummy ache. Stop use and seek help urgently if you have signs of stomach bleeding (black stools or vomiting blood), a serious allergic reaction (swelling, breathing difficulty) or a severe skin reaction.
