Nurofen Sinus & Pain Ibuprofen 200mg Film Coated Tablets - 24 Pack

• Swallow with water, with or just after food. Adults and children 12 years and over: 2 tablets, then if needed 1-2 tablets every 4 hours. Do not take more than 6 tablets in 24 hours.
• Not suitable for children under 12 years.
• Do not take with other cold, decongestant, ibuprofen or NSAID medicines, or with alcohol.
• For short-term use. If symptoms last more than 3 days or get worse, see your doctor.

Who should not use it

Do not use if you are allergic to ibuprofen, aspirin or other anti-inflammatory painkillers (NSAIDs) or any of the ingredients; if you have ever had asthma, wheezing, a runny nose, rash or swelling after taking these medicines; if you have (or have had) stomach ulcer, bleeding or perforation; if you have heart disease or high blood pressure, diabetes, an overactive thyroid, closed-angle glaucoma or prostate problems; if you are in the last three months of pregnancy; or if you are under 12 years of age.

Warnings & precautions

Talk to your doctor or pharmacist before use if you have heart, liver or kidney problems, or a history of stomach problems, or take blood thinners, low-dose aspirin or other painkillers. Anti-inflammatory painkillers carry a small increased risk of heart attack or stroke, especially at high doses or long-term. Stop and get urgent help if you develop a sudden severe headache or vision changes, as rare effects on brain blood flow (PRES/RCVS) or the optic nerve have been reported with pseudoephedrine.

Pregnancy & breastfeeding

Do not use in the last three months of pregnancy; earlier in pregnancy only on medical advice. Not recommended while breastfeeding - ask your doctor or pharmacist.

Possible side effects

The most common are indigestion, headache, dizziness and difficulty sleeping. Stop use and seek help urgently if you have signs of stomach bleeding (black stools or vomiting blood), a serious allergic reaction, or the rare warning signs above.
