How Does Regaine Work?
Regaine contains an active ingredient called Minoxidil. When applied to the scalp, Minoxidil helps increase blood flow to the hair follicles, increasing follicle size and thickness, stimulating and prolonging hair growth.

In hereditary hair loss, a combination of factors including age, genetics and hormones can result in a shorter growing cycle of hair follicles. Using Regaine twice daily can even reverse the process, resulting in hair regrowth.

Regaine has been shown to help prevent further hair loss in 4 out of 5 men and help stimulate regrowth for a thicker, fuller head of hair. Regaine works best in men with recent hair loss or thinning at the top of the scalp but can be used by men with a receding hairline, as this is typically an early stage of hereditary hair loss.

How to use

Regaine should be used twice a day: once in the morning, once in the evening, about half an hour before going to bed, leaving roughly 12 hours between applications.

  1. Part your hair to expose your scalp, making sure your scalp is dry. If you use a comb, make sure it’s got rounded, widely spaced teeth.
  2. Hold the can vertically and press the nozzle to dispense the topical foam: about half a capful. Always use the recommended 1gr dose.
  3. Rub the foam into your scalp and gently massage it throughout the affected area. Wash your hands and you’re done. Any massaging of the scalp should be gentle to minimize hair breakage.

You can have visibly more hair in 16 weeks. But it is important you keep applying your Regaine twice each day, so you can maintain and see results. Exceeding the recommended dose will not regrow your hair any quicker and you will have an increased likelihood of getting side-effects.?

Active Ingredients

Each gram of cutaneous foam contains 50mg of Minoxidil (5% w/w)

Minoxidil was discovered during clinical trials for high blood pressure treatment. During trials, minoxidil showed signs of being able to regrow hair.

Minoxidil increases blood flow which stimulates hair follicles, promoting hair regrowth in 4 ways:
