• Make sure your hair and scalp are completely dry.
• Dispense 1g of foam (about half a capful) onto your hand.
• Massage into the affected area of the scalp once a day, then wash your hands.
• Use only on the scalp.
• Use continuously - it takes time, with regrowth often noticeable from around 12 weeks. If there is no improvement after about 6 months (24 weeks), stop and seek advice.

Who should not use it

Do not use if you are under 18 or over 65, pregnant or breastfeeding, or allergic to minoxidil or any ingredient. Do not use if your scalp is red, inflamed, infected, painful, broken or shaved. If your hair loss is sudden, patchy or for an unknown reason, see a doctor first.

Warnings & precautions

Use only once a day - more frequent use will not work faster and increases the risk of side effects. Apply only to the scalp. The foam is a flammable aerosol, so keep it away from flames and do not smoke during or just after use. Some increased shedding in the first 2 to 6 weeks is normal. Stop and see a doctor if you get chest pain, a rapid heartbeat, dizziness, sudden weight gain, swelling of the hands or feet, or unwanted facial-hair growth.

Possible side effects

Scalp irritation, itching, redness or dryness; changes in hair colour or texture; and a temporary increase in shedding when you start.
