How to Take Sidena

For the best results, Sidena should be taken exactly as directed by your pharmacist or doctor.

• Dosage: Take one tablet as needed.
• Timing: Take the tablet approximately 1 hour before planned sexual activity.
• Method: Swallow the tablet whole with water.
• Maximum Limit: Do not take more than one tablet a day.
• Sexual Stimulation Required: Sidena will only work if you are sexually aroused.
• Food and Drink: It can be taken with or without food, but may take longer to work after a heavy meal. Avoid grapefruit juice as it may affect how the medicine works.

Important Safety Information

Do not take Sidena if you:

• Are taking medicines called nitrates (often for chest pain) or nitric oxide donors (such as "poppers"), as this can lead to a dangerous drop in blood pressure.
• Are taking riociguat or other guanylate cyclase stimulators.
• Have a severe heart or liver problem.
• Have recently had a stroke, heart attack, or have low blood pressure.
• Have certain rare inherited eye diseases or have ever experienced vision loss due to NAION.
• Are a woman or are under 18 years of age.

Health Check Recommendation:You should schedule a health check-up with your doctor within the first 6 months of starting Sidena to ensure your erection problems are not caused by an underlying serious health condition, such as diabetes or cardiovascular disease.

Possible Side Effects

Like all medicines, Sidena can cause side effects, though they are usually mild to moderate and of short duration.

Very Common: Headache.

Common: Nausea, facial flushing, indigestion, blurred vision, stuffy nose, and dizziness.

Serious (Seek medical help immediately): * An allergic reaction (sudden wheeziness, swelling of face/throat).

• Chest pains (if this occurs during or after sex, do not use nitrates).
• A prolonged or painful erection lasting more than 4 hours (priapism).
• Sudden decrease or loss of vision.
