Solpa Cold & Flu Max Multi-Relief Lemon Sachets 10 Pack

• Dissolve the contents of one sachet in a mug (about 250ml) of hot but not boiling water, and let it cool to a drinkable temperature.
• Adults and children aged 16 and over who weigh at least 50kg: one sachet every 4 to 6 hours as needed.
• Do not take more than 4 sachets in 24 hours.
• Not for anyone under 16 years.
• Talk to your doctor if your symptoms persist or get worse after 3 days.

Who should not use it

Do not take this medicine if you are allergic to any of the ingredients; if you have liver problems, high blood pressure, heart or circulatory disease, an overactive thyroid, diabetes, glaucoma or an enlarged prostate; if you are taking or have recently taken a monoamine oxidase inhibitor (MAOI) antidepressant such as moclobemide, phenelzine, isocarboxazid or tranylcypromine; if you are pregnant; if you are already taking another paracetamol-containing product; or if you are under 16 years of age or weigh less than 50kg.

Warnings & precautions

Never take this alongside another paracetamol-containing product - at 1000mg a sachet this is a full adult dose. Do not drink alcohol while taking it. Talk to your doctor before use if you take a beta-blocker, a tricyclic antidepressant or warfarin. The risk of liver damage is higher if you drink heavily, are undernourished or are dehydrated. Each sachet contains about 2g of sugar, which matters if you are diabetic.

Pregnancy & breastfeeding

Do not take this medicine if you are pregnant. If you are breastfeeding, talk to your doctor or pharmacist before use.

Possible side effects

Feeling or being sick, stomach discomfort, headache, a faster heartbeat and a rise in blood pressure can occur. Stop taking it and get medical help straight away if you develop a rash, blistering, swelling of the face or throat, or difficulty breathing.

Each sachet contains paracetamol 1000mg, guaifenesin 200mg and phenylephrine hydrochloride 12.2mg. Also contains about 2g of sugar per sachet.
