Solpa Cold & Flu Multi-Relief Capsules 16 Pack

• Swallow the capsules whole with water.
• Adults and children aged 16 and over: two capsules every 4 to 6 hours.
• Do not exceed the stated dose on the pack.
• Not for anyone under 16 years.
• Do not take for more than 3 days unless your doctor tells you to.

Who should not use it

Do not take these capsules if you are allergic to paracetamol, guaifenesin, phenylephrine hydrochloride or any of the other ingredients; if you have a heart condition, high blood pressure or an overactive thyroid; if you are taking or have recently taken a monoamine oxidase inhibitor (MAOI) antidepressant; if you are taking any other decongestant; if you are already taking another paracetamol-containing product; or if you are under 16 years of age.

Warnings & precautions

Never take these alongside another paracetamol-containing product. Because of the decongestant, talk to your doctor or pharmacist first if you have glaucoma, an enlarged prostate, diabetes, or any heart or circulation problem, and check with them if you take a beta-blocker or a tricyclic antidepressant. Do not drink large amounts of alcohol while taking them, and talk to your pharmacist first if you have liver or kidney problems or take warfarin.

Pregnancy & breastfeeding

Talk to your doctor or pharmacist before taking these capsules if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.

Possible side effects

Feeling or being sick, stomach discomfort, headache, a faster or thumping heartbeat and a rise in blood pressure can occur. Stop taking them and get medical help straight away if you develop a rash, blistering, swelling of the face or throat, or difficulty breathing.

Each capsule contains paracetamol 500mg, guaifenesin 100mg and phenylephrine hydrochloride 6.1mg.
