Sudaplus 500mg/30mg Tablets 15 Pack

• Take the tablets with water, leaving at least 4 hours between doses.
• Adults, the elderly and children 16 years and over: 2 tablets every 4-6 hours as needed, up to 4 times a day. Do not take more than 8 tablets in 24 hours.
• Children 12-15 years: 1 tablet every 4-6 hours as needed, up to 4 times a day. Do not take more than 4 tablets in 24 hours.
• Not suitable for children under 12 years.
• Do not take with any other paracetamol or decongestant product. Do not take for more than 5 days unless your doctor tells you to.

Who should not use it

Do not use if you are allergic to paracetamol, pseudoephedrine or any of the ingredients; if you have severe high blood pressure or severe heart disease, diabetes, an overactive thyroid, or are at risk of breathing failure; if you take (or took in the last 2 weeks) MAOI antidepressants or other decongestants; if you take other paracetamol-containing medicines; or for children under 12.

Warnings & precautions

Talk to your doctor or pharmacist before use if you have liver or kidney problems or Gilbert's syndrome, or difficulty passing urine or prostate problems, or if you take flucloxacillin (risk of a serious blood and fluid problem, metabolic acidosis). Stop and get urgent help if you develop a sudden severe headache or sudden vision changes or loss, as rare effects on brain blood flow (PRES/RCVS) or the optic nerve have been reported with pseudoephedrine.

Pregnancy & breastfeeding

Not recommended in pregnancy or breastfeeding. Ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice.

Possible side effects

The most common are headache, dizziness and difficulty sleeping. Stop use and seek advice if you have an allergic reaction, a fast or irregular heartbeat, or the rare warning signs above.
