Vividrin Preservative Free Eye Drops SDU (20 X 0.5ml)

• The usual dose is one drop into each eye, four times a day. Your doctor may advise using them more often when pollen counts are high.
• Wash your hands. Twist the cap off a single-dose unit, gently pull down your lower eyelid and place one drop into the space between the eyelid and eye, taking care not to touch your eye with the unit.
• Blink a few times, then repeat for the other eye. For best results use them every day you are in contact with the allergen, even when you have no symptoms - if your symptoms are caused by pollen, continue until the end of the hay fever season.
• Each single-dose unit is for one use only - throw it away immediately after use. Your vision may be briefly blurred after putting the drops in.
• Contact a doctor if your symptoms get worse or do not improve.

Who should not use it

Do not use these drops if you are allergic to sodium cromoglicate or any of the other ingredients.

Warnings & precautions

Tell your doctor or pharmacist about any other medicines you are taking. Your vision may be blurred briefly after applying the drops, so wait until your eyes are clear before driving or using machines. Contact a doctor if your symptoms worsen or do not improve.

Pregnancy & breastfeeding

If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, use these drops only if necessary and only on your doctor's advice. They should not be used during the first 3 months of pregnancy.

Possible side effects

You may briefly have blurred vision or a slight stinging feeling after use, and a small number of people get eye irritation. Very rarely an allergic reaction can occur (facial rash, swelling around the eye and, very rarely, difficulty breathing) - stop using the drops and seek medical help if this happens.

Sodium cromoglicate 2% w/v (each 0.5ml single-dose unit contains 10mg). Also contains sorbitol, hypromellose, hydrochloric acid and water for injection. Preservative-free.
