How to Take Viaredin

For the best results, follow these guidelines exactly as described in the patient information leaflet:

• Dosage: Take one tablet approximately one hour before you plan to have sex.
• Administration: Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water.
• Frequency: Do not take more than one tablet in any 24-hour period.
• Food & Drink: Can be taken with or without food, though a high-fat meal may delay its onset. Do not take with grapefruit juice.+1
• Alcohol: Excessive alcohol can temporarily reduce your ability to get an erection. It is advised to avoid large amounts of alcohol before use.

Who should NOT take Viaredin?

You must not take this medicine if you:

• Do not have an erection problem.
• Are taking nitrate medicines for chest pain or heart failure.
• Use recreational "poppers" (amyl nitrite).
• Take riociguat for high blood pressure in the lungs or ritonavir for HIV.
• Have severe heart or liver problems, or have had a recent stroke or heart attack (within 6 months).
• Have low blood pressure (below 90/50 mmHg).
• Have an allergy to sildenafil, peanut, or soya.

Erectile dysfunction can be an early sign of underlying conditions like diabetes or high blood pressure. You should schedule a health check-up with your doctor within the first 6 months of starting Viaredin to ensure your heart and blood vessels are healthy.

Possible Side Effects

• Very Common: Headache.
• Common: Nausea, facial flushing, indigestion, stuffy nose, dizziness, and colour tinge to vision.

Seek medical attention immediately if you experience:

• Chest pains (do not use nitrates to treat this).
• A prolonged/painful erection lasting more than 4 hours.
• A sudden decrease or loss of vision.
