Eurax Cream

• For itching: apply a thin layer to the affected skin 2 to 3 times a day.
• For scabies: apply over the whole body below the chin (including between the fingers and toes), repeat 24 hours later, then bathe a day after with a change of clothes and bedding; treat close contacts at the same time.
• For external use only.
• Children under 3 only on a doctor's advice, and no more than once a day.

Who should not use it

Do not use if you are allergic to crotamiton or any ingredient. Do not apply to broken, raw, weeping, very sore or infected skin, or near the eyes or mouth.

Warnings & precautions

For external use only. Do not use for itching caused by an infection such as thrush or ringworm. Stop using it if it irritates your skin. Ask your doctor first for a child under 3.

Pregnancy & breastfeeding

Not recommended in pregnancy, especially in the first three months; use only on medical advice. If breastfeeding, do not apply to the breasts.

Possible side effects

Occasionally skin reactions such as rash, redness or irritation and, rarely, swelling (angioedema).

Crotamiton 10% w/w. Contains methyl hydroxybenzoate (E218) and stearyl alcohol, which may cause skin or allergic reactions.
