Q10 Gold and SelenoQ10 both contain added vitamin B2, which contributes to the reduction of tiredness and fatigue and to a normal energy-yielding metabolism. In SelenoQ10, selenium contributes to the protection of cells from oxidative stress and to normal immune system function.
Which strength of BioActive D-Pearls is right for me?
D-Pearls are pure vitamin D3 dissolved in cold-pressed olive oil in a small, easy-to-swallow pearl. We stock three strengths so you can match the dose to what you actually need:
Vitamin D contributes to the normal function of the immune system, the maintenance of normal bones and teeth, and the maintenance of normal muscle function. The 1520iu and 3000iu D-Pearls are halal certified and gluten free.
What is BioActive Magnesium for, and which pack size should I buy?
BioActive Magnesium uses a blend of organic magnesium salts chosen for absorption. Magnesium contributes to normal muscle function, to a normal energy-yielding metabolism, to the reduction of tiredness and fatigue, to normal psychological function and to the maintenance of normal bones and teeth. It is vegan. Choose the 60 pack to try it, or the 150 pack if you already take it daily.
What does BioActive Selenium + Zinc do?
BioActive Selenium + Zinc contributes to a healthy immune system. The vitamin E in the formula contributes to the protection of body cells from oxidative stress, and selenium contributes to normal thyroid function. Which Pharma Nord product suits joints and mobility?
- BioActive JointCare — glucosamine and chondroitin with vitamin C, which contributes to normal collagen formation for the normal function of cartilage and bones. 60 tablets is a one-month supply.
- Bio-Curcumin — 400mg of curcumin extract per capsule in a form that is up to 95% easier to absorb than standard turmeric or curcumin supplements. Gentle on the stomach and suitable for vegetarians and vegans.

Which omega options do you stock, and how do they differ?
BioActive Omega-3 is a highly concentrated fish oil at 65% omega-3, supplied as free fatty acids for around 50% better absorption, and combined with vitamin B12 and folic acid, which support homocysteine metabolism. Omega 7 Sea Buckthorn Oil is a different proposition altogether: it provides omega 3, 6, 7 and 9 with beta-carotene, and helps maintain the normal structure and function of the skin and mucous membranes, including those of the eyes, nose and mouth. It comes in 60 and 150 packs, and is free from gluten, lactose, soy, yeast and sugar.
I am tired all the time — where should I start?
Speak to us first, because persistent fatigue deserves a proper conversation and sometimes a blood test rather than a supplement. Within the range, BioActive B Complex provides eight B vitamins in high doses; B vitamins are water soluble, are not stored well by the body and so need to come from diet or supplementation, and they are essential for energy production, nervous system function and psychological function. When and how should I take Pharma Nord supplements?
Take them with food unless the label says otherwise. The oil-based products in particular — Q10 Gold, D-Pearls, K-Pearls, BioActive Omega-3 and Omega 7 — are best taken with your largest meal of the day, because the fat in that meal helps you absorb them. Tablets such as Magnesium, Selenium + Zinc and B Complex can be split across the day if you prefer, and most people find B vitamins sit better in the morning than last thing at night. Consistency matters more than timing: take them at the same point in your routine every day, and always follow the dose on the pack.
Are Pharma Nord products suitable for vegans or people avoiding gluten?
Always check the pack itself if you have a strict dietary requirement or an allergy, and ask us if anything is unclear.
Can I take Pharma Nord supplements alongside prescription medicines?
Often yes, but check with us first — that is exactly what a pharmacy is for. Take particular care if you are on anticoagulant or antiplatelet medication, cholesterol-lowering medication, thyroid medication or diabetes medication. BioActive Red Yeast Rice, BioActive Garlic and BioActive Chromium are the ones we are most often asked about.
