Dosage & How to Take

For safe and effective use, follow the recommended dosage guidelines exactly:

Adults and the Elderly:

• Dose: Take 1 to 2 capsules with a drink of water.
• Frequency: Repeat every 4 to 6 hours as required.
• Maximum Dose: Do not take more than 8 capsules in any 24-hour period.
• Duration of Treatment: You should see a doctor if your symptoms worsen or do not improve in more than 3 days

Children and Adolescents:

• Under 16 Years: Do not give to children under 16 years of age unless specifically advised by a doctor due to the risk of Reye’s syndrome, a very rare and potentially fatal disease.

Safety & Important Precautions

Before taking this medicine, please review the following safety information:

• Do Not Take If: You have ever had a stomach ulcer, perforation, or bleeding ; suffer from heart disease, heart failure, or renal/kidney failure ; or have bleeding disorders like haemophilia.
• Pregnancy & Breastfeeding: Do not take if you are in the last 3 months of pregnancy or while breastfeeding. Seek medical advice during the first 6 months of pregnancy.
• Caffeine Intake: Excessive intake of caffeine from other sources should be avoided during treatment.
• Alcohol: Consumption of alcohol should be avoided while taking this medicine.

Possible Side Effects

While not everyone experience them, side effects can occur and may be more serious in elderly patients.

• Gastrointestinal: Abdominal pain, indigestion, or heartburn. Stomach or intestinal bleeding can occur at any time during treatment.
• Serious Reactions: Stop taking the product immediately if you experience skin rashes, swelling of the face, vomiting blood, or passing black stools.
• Heart Health: High doses and prolonged treatment may be associated with a small increased risk of heart attack or stroke.

Each Anadin Maximum Strength Capsule contains Aspirin 500mg, Caffeine 32mg.
