Benylin Children’s Dry Cough Syrup helps to relieve coughs and allergies. The active ingredient diphenhydramine which is an antihistamine, helps coughs and dries mucus secretions in the nose and chest.  The levomenthol is a decongestant that helps you breathe easier.

Our pharmacists often recommend this medicine for treating dry coughs in children over six years old, especially if the cough is more prevalent at night time. It can be useful also if there is associated runny nose or sneezng as well as the dry cough. As this cough medicine can make you drowsy, it is suitable only for short term use and is not to be used as a sleeping aid.
