Bloateze 20 Tablets

• Adults: take 4 tablets a day, ideally 2 tablets after a main meal.
• Swallow the tablets with a glass of water. Take care not to break them when you press them out of the blister.
• Do not take the tablets lying down.
• Do not take more than the recommended dose.
• Use for no more than 30 days in a row. If your symptoms persist, see your doctor.
• Each tablet is single-use: take it out of the blister only when you need it, and do not keep or reuse a broken or removed tablet.
• Store below 25°C in a dry place, away from direct light and heat.

Who should not use it

Do not use Bloateze if you are allergic to any of the ingredients, if you have known lesions in your stomach or intestine, or if you have a blocked bowel. Not for children under 14.

Warnings & precautions

Do not take Bloateze while using other medicines or medical devices by mouth: the charcoal and simethicone can stop them working as well. If you are on any ongoing medication, talk to your doctor before taking Bloateze. Simethicone can interfere with some diagnostic tests, such as the guaiac stool test, so tell your doctor you are taking it if you are having tests. Do not use it if the pack is damaged or past its expiry date.

Pregnancy & breastfeeding

There is not enough information on using Bloateze in pregnancy or while breastfeeding. Only use it if it is really necessary, and after talking to your doctor.

Possible side effects

Your stools may turn dark brown because of the charcoal. This is normal and harmless. No medium- or long-term side effects have been seen, and it does not affect your concentration or ability to drive.

Each tablet contains simethicone 50mg and activated carbon (activated charcoal) 300mg. Other ingredients: maltodextrin, sucrose (saccharose), microcrystalline cellulose, hydroxypropylmethylcellulose, polyvinylpyrrolidone, colloidal silica, sodium croscarmellose, polyvinylpolypyrrolidone, glyceryl behenate, silicon dioxide and vegetable magnesium stearate.
