Brupro Ibuprofen Cold & Flu 24 Tablets

• Swallow whole with a large glass of water, preferably with meals. Adults and children 12 years and over: 1 tablet every 6 hours; for more intense symptoms, 2 tablets every 6 hours.
• Do not take more than 6 tablets in 24 hours.
• Not for children under 12 years.
• Do not take with other cold, decongestant, ibuprofen or NSAID medicines, or with alcohol. Talk to a doctor if you need it for more than 4 days.

Who should not use it

Do not use if you are allergic to ibuprofen, pseudoephedrine or other anti-inflammatory painkillers (NSAIDs)/aspirin, or any of the ingredients; if you have ever had asthma, wheezing, a runny nose or swelling after taking these medicines; if you have (or have had) a stomach ulcer or bleeding; if you have severe heart disease, high blood pressure, angina, a fast heart rate, a history of stroke or its risk factors, an overactive thyroid, diabetes or a phaeochromocytoma; if you take MAOI antidepressants (now or in the last 2 weeks); if you are in the last three months of pregnancy; or if you are under 12 years of age.

Warnings & precautions

Talk to your doctor or pharmacist before use if you have heart, liver or kidney problems, or a history of stomach problems, or take blood thinners or other painkillers. Anti-inflammatory painkillers carry a small increased risk of heart attack or stroke. Avoid ibuprofen if you have chickenpox. Stop and get urgent help if you develop a widespread pustular rash with fever (a severe skin reaction), sudden abdominal pain or rectal bleeding, or a sudden severe headache or vision changes (rare pseudoephedrine effects on brain blood flow or the optic nerve).

Pregnancy & breastfeeding

Do not use in the last three months of pregnancy; earlier only on medical advice. Not recommended while breastfeeding - ask your doctor or pharmacist.

Possible side effects

The most common are indigestion, nausea, headache, dizziness and difficulty sleeping. Stop use and seek help urgently if you have signs of stomach bleeding (black stools or vomiting blood), a serious skin or allergic reaction, or the rare warning signs above.
