Clarityn Loratadine 10mg Hayfever & Allergy Tablets 30 Tablets

• Adults and children over 12 years: 1 tablet once a day, with or without food.
• Children 2-12 years weighing over 30kg: 1 tablet once a day. Not suitable for children weighing 30kg or less - other formulations are more appropriate.
• If you have severe liver problems, your doctor or pharmacist may advise taking a tablet every other day.

Who should not use it

Do not use if you are allergic to loratadine or any of the ingredients. It contains lactose, so it is unsuitable if you have a rare hereditary problem of galactose intolerance or lactase deficiency.

Warnings & precautions

Talk to your doctor or pharmacist before use if you have severe liver disease. Stop taking it about 48 hours before any allergy skin tests, as it can affect the results. Tell your pharmacist if you take medicines such as erythromycin, ketoconazole or cimetidine. Although non-drowsy for most people, a few may feel drowsy - avoid alcohol if affected.

Pregnancy & breastfeeding

Not recommended during pregnancy or breastfeeding. Ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice.

Possible side effects

Side effects are uncommon and usually mild - occasionally headache, drowsiness, dry mouth or tiredness. Stop use and seek advice if you have an allergic reaction.
