Disprin Direct Tablets 24 Pack

• Let the tablet disperse on your tongue - no water needed.
• Adults and children 16 years and over: 1-2 tablets, repeated every 4-6 hours if needed. Do not take more than 12 tablets in 24 hours.
• Not for children under 16 years, because of the risk of Reye''s syndrome (a rare but serious condition).
• Do not take for more than 3 days. If symptoms persist, talk to your doctor or pharmacist.

Who should not use it

Do not use if you are allergic to aspirin or other anti-inflammatory painkillers (NSAIDs); if you have or have had a stomach ulcer, perforation or bleeding; if you have a bleeding disorder; if you have severe liver or kidney problems or severe heart failure; if you are breastfeeding or in the last three months of pregnancy; or if you are under 16 years of age.

Warnings & precautions

Talk to your doctor or pharmacist before use if you have asthma, nasal polyps, hay fever or allergies; a history of stomach ulcers, reflux or inflammatory bowel disease; gout; liver, kidney or heart problems or high blood pressure; G6PD deficiency; or if you are elderly or have surgery scheduled (aspirin should be stopped several days beforehand). Anti-inflammatory painkillers carry a small increased risk of heart attack or stroke, especially at high doses. Tell your pharmacist if you take blood thinners, methotrexate, other NSAIDs or SSRIs. This medicine contains sulphur dioxide (E220), which may rarely cause allergic reactions and wheezing. Avoid alcohol.

Pregnancy & breastfeeding

Do not use if you are breastfeeding or in the last three months of pregnancy. Earlier in pregnancy, use only if your doctor advises. Ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice.

Possible side effects

The most common are indigestion and stomach irritation. Stop use and seek help urgently if you notice signs of stomach bleeding (black, tarry stools or vomiting blood or dark particles), unusual bruising or bleeding, wheezing, or a serious skin or allergic reaction.
