Dulcolax Suppositories are used to relieve the symptoms of constipation. Dulcolax contains 10 mg of bisacodyl, which helps to gently stimulate the bowel muscles to help return the body to its natural rhythm. The laxative effect usually takes effect within 10 to 30 minutes.

How to use Dulcolax Suppositories

Adults and children over 10 years old, put one 10 mg suppository into the back passage for immediate effect. Only use one suppository per day.

Driving and using machines

This medication may make you feel dizzy or faint. If affected wait until these feeling pass before driving or using machines.

Some common side effects include nausea, diarrhoea and abdominal cramps or pain.
