Emazole Control Esomeprazole Tablets 28 Pk

• Adults: take one 20mg tablet once a day, swallowed whole with water - do not chew or crush.
• It may take 1 to 3 days for the full effect.
• Take for up to 14 days; if your symptoms continue after 14 days, see your doctor.
• Do not take more than one tablet a day.

Who should not use it

Do not use if you are allergic to esomeprazole or other PPIs or any ingredient, or if you take a medicine containing nelfinavir. Not for under-18s without a doctor's advice.

Warnings & precautions

See a doctor before use if you have difficulty or pain swallowing, stomach pain, unintended weight loss, are vomiting (especially blood), have black stools, or are over 55 with new or recently changed symptoms - these need checking. Esomeprazole can mask other conditions. Tell your pharmacist about other medicines such as warfarin, clopidogrel, certain antifungals or St John's Wort. Long-term use can affect magnesium and vitamin B12.

Possible side effects

Headache, diarrhoea or constipation, wind, nausea or tummy pain. Rarely, allergic reactions, or low magnesium with long-term use.
