Product Information

Gaviscon Liquid Aniseed Oral Suspension is a reflux suppressant and helps to relieve symptoms such as heartburn and acid indigestion. The medicine creates a layer over the content of the stomach preventing excess acid from escaping.

How to use

Adults and children over 12 years, 10-20 ml (two to four 5 ml spoonful’s) after meals and at bedtime.

Gaviscon Liquid can be used by adults and children 12 years and over.

If you are pregnant or breast-feeding

Gaviscon Liquid can be taken if you are pregnant or breast-feeding but as with all medication it should be limited as much as possible

Driving and using machinery.

This medicine should have no effect on your ability to drive or operate machinery.

KEEP ALL MEDICINES OUT OF THE EACH OF CHILDREN.

Active Ingredients

Each 10 ml of oral suspension contains 500 mg sodium alginate, 267 mg sodium bicarbonate and 160 mg calcium carbonate 

Other Ingredients: sodium methyl (E218), and propyl (E216) para-hydroxybenzoates.
