Lemsip Multi Relief Capsules 16 Pack

• Swallow the capsules whole with water.
• Adults, the elderly and children aged 16 and over: two capsules every 4 to 6 hours.
• Do not take more than 8 capsules in 24 hours, and do not exceed the stated dose.
• Not for anyone under 16 years.
• Talk to your doctor if your symptoms have not improved after 3 days.

Safety information

Who should not use it

Do not take these capsules if you are allergic to any of the ingredients; if you have a serious heart condition, high blood pressure or an overactive thyroid; if you are taking or have taken a monoamine oxidase inhibitor (MAOI) antidepressant in the last 14 days; if you are taking any other decongestant, whether by mouth or as a nasal spray; if you are already taking another paracetamol-containing product; or if you are under 16 years of age.

Warnings & precautions

Never take these alongside another paracetamol-containing product. Because of the decongestant, talk to your doctor or pharmacist first if you have glaucoma, an enlarged prostate, diabetes, any heart or circulation problem, or a history of pre-eclampsia. Check with your doctor if you take beta-blockers or tricyclic antidepressants. Do not drink large amounts of alcohol while taking them, and talk to your pharmacist first if you have liver or kidney problems or take warfarin or the antibiotic flucloxacillin.

Pregnancy & breastfeeding

Do not take these capsules if you are pregnant or breastfeeding unless your doctor has told you to.

Possible side effects

Feeling or being sick, diarrhoea, stomach discomfort, headache, a faster or thumping heartbeat, and a rise in blood pressure. Stop taking them and get medical help straight away if you develop a rash, blistering, swelling of the face or throat, or difficulty breathing.

Each capsule contains paracetamol 500mg, phenylephrine hydrochloride 6.1mg and guaifenesin 100mg.
