Nasacort Allergy Nasal Spray

• Shake well. Prime the spray when new or if unused for two weeks, by pumping until a fine mist appears.
• Blow the nose gently, then spray two sprays into each nostril once a day; once symptoms improve, reduce to one spray into each nostril once a day.
• Use only in the nose; avoid the eyes and mouth.
• It may take up to a week to feel the full benefit.

Who should not use it

Do not use if you are allergic to triamcinolone or any of the ingredients. It is not for treating a common cold.

Warnings & precautions

Use with care if you have a nasal infection or sore, have had recent nasal surgery or injury, or have a history of glaucoma or cataracts. Tell your pharmacist if you use other steroid medicines. If there is no improvement after a week, stop and seek advice.

Pregnancy & breastfeeding

Ask your pharmacist or doctor before use.

Possible side effects

Nasal dryness or irritation, sore throat, nosebleeds, cough and headache. Rarely, effects on the nasal lining or eyes with long-term use, or an allergic reaction.

Triamcinolone acetonide 55 micrograms per spray. Also contains microcrystalline cellulose, carmellose sodium, polysorbate 80 and purified water among others.
