Otrivine Adult Mucus Relief Nasal Spray 10ml

• Adults and children aged 12 and over: 1 spray into each nostril, up to 3 times a day.
• Do not use for more than 7 days, and do not exceed the stated dose.
• Not for children under 12.
• Avoid spraying into the eyes.

Who should not use it

Do not use if you are allergic to xylometazoline or any ingredient; if you take, or have taken in the last 2 weeks, an MAOI antidepressant; if you have an overactive thyroid or narrow-angle glaucoma; after surgery through the nose or skull base; or in children under 12. Ask your pharmacist first if you have heart disease, high blood pressure, diabetes, or an enlarged prostate.

Warnings & precautions

Do not use for more than 7 days - prolonged use can make a blocked nose come back worse. Avoid spraying into the eyes. To avoid spreading infection, do not share the spray. Stop and seek advice if you get a fast or irregular heartbeat, or blurred vision.

Possible side effects

Nasal dryness, irritation or a burning feeling, sneezing, nausea or headache; less often a faster heartbeat.
