Relactagel Lactate Vaginal Gel 7 Pack

• To treat BV: one tube a day at bedtime for 7 days.
• To help prevent BV: one tube a day at bedtime for 2 to 3 days after your period.
• Twist off the cap (do not cut it), insert the tube gently into the vagina, squeeze to empty, then remove and throw away. A panty liner can help with any leakage.

Who should not use it

Do not use it if you are allergic to any of the ingredients, or if you are trying to conceive. It is not a contraceptive.

Warnings & precautions

It may cause burning or mild irritation if you also have thrush or small tears in the vaginal tissue. See your doctor if you get BV three or more times a year. See your GP instead if it is the first time you have had these symptoms, if you are pregnant, if symptoms keep coming back, or if you have pain, a fever, lower tummy pain, bleeding between periods or after sex, or blood in your discharge.

Pregnancy & breastfeeding

If you are pregnant and think you have BV, see your GP or midwife, and check with them before using it. If you are breastfeeding, ask your pharmacist first.

Possible side effects

Burning or mild irritation, particularly if thrush or small tears are present. Stop using it if this does not settle.
