• Adults and children 12 years and over: one 10ml measure, four times a day.
• Not suitable for children under 12 years.
• For short-term use. If your cough lasts more than 7 days, comes back, or comes with a fever, rash or persistent headache, talk to your doctor.

Who should not use it

Do not use if you are allergic to guaifenesin or any of the ingredients, or for children under 12. It contains sorbitol and maltitol, so it is unsuitable if you have hereditary fructose intolerance.

Warnings & precautions

Talk to your doctor or pharmacist before use if you have a long-standing cough (such as with smoking, chronic bronchitis or emphysema), asthma, or a cough that brings up a lot of mucus, or if you have liver or kidney problems. It contains a small amount of alcohol.

Not recommended in pregnancy or breastfeeding. Ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice.

Possible side effects

Occasionally stomach discomfort, nausea or drowsiness. Stop use and seek advice if you have an allergic reaction (rash, swelling or breathing difficulty).
