Product Information

Sinutab Non-Drowsy Tablets provide effective relief from cold and flu symptoms, including nasal and sinus congestion, headaches, fever, aches, and pains.
Each tablet contains two active ingredients:

  • Paracetamol (500 mg) – relieves pain and reduces fever.

  • Pseudoephedrine hydrochloride (30 mg) – a decongestant that clears blocked noses and sinuses, helping you breathe more easily.

Sinutab offers dual-action relief to target both congestion and discomfort, helping you get back to feeling like yourself.

Sinutab works quickly to reduce congestion and sinus pressure while easing pain and fever.

If symptoms persist beyond 5 days, or worsen, you should speak to your doctor or pharmacist, as prolonged cold or sinus symptoms may require further investigation.

How to use

How to Take Sinutab

  • Adults and children aged 16 years and over: Take 2 tablets every 4–6 hours as needed, up to a maximum of 8 tablets in 24 hours.
  • Children aged 12–15 years: Take 1 tablet every 4–6 hours as needed, up to a maximum of 4 tablets in 24 hours.
  • Swallow the tablets whole with water.
  • Do not take for more than 5 days without medical advice.

Do not give to children under 12 years of age.
Avoid taking other medicines that contain paracetamol or pseudoephedrine at the same time.

Who Should Not Take Sinutab

Do not take Sinutab if you:

  • Are allergic to paracetamol, pseudoephedrine, or any ingredients in the medicine.
  • Have high blood pressure, heart disease, glaucoma, diabetes, overactive thyroid, or kidney problems.
  • Are taking monoamine oxidase inhibitors (MAOIs) or have taken them in the past two weeks.
  • Are taking beta blockers or any other cold and flu medicines containing similar ingredients.

Consult your pharmacist before taking Sinutab if you have liver or kidney disease, epilepsy, prostate problems, anaemia, or circulatory issues.

Possible Side Effects

Like all medicines, Sinutab may cause side effects, although not everyone gets them.
Common side effects include:

  • Headache, dry mouth, nausea, difficulty sleeping, or dizziness.

Uncommon but serious effects may include:

  • Allergic reactions such as rash, swelling, or difficulty breathing.
  • Heart rhythm disturbances, restlessness, anxiety, or high blood pressure.
  • Stomach pain or bleeding, sudden headache, or visual disturbances.

Stop using Sinutab and seek medical advice immediately if you develop sudden severe headache, confusion, vomiting, or changes in vision, as these may indicate rare but serious vascular effects.

Storage

  • Store below 25°C and in the original packaging.
  • Keep out of the sight and reach of children.
  • Do not use after the expiry date printed on the carton.
