Sudafed Decongestant Syrup 30mg/5ml Pseudoephedrine 100ml

• Adults and children aged 12 and over usually take 10ml three to four times a day.
• Children aged 6 to 12 take a smaller dose - check the leaflet.
• Do not take more than the stated dose, and do not take other decongestant or cold and flu medicines at the same time.

Who should not use it

Do not use if you are allergic to pseudoephedrine or any ingredient; if you have high blood pressure or heart disease, an overactive thyroid, diabetes, glaucoma or severe kidney problems; or if you take, or have taken in the last 2 weeks, an MAOI antidepressant.

Warnings & precautions

Ask your pharmacist if you have an enlarged prostate or take other medicines. Stop if you get a fast or irregular heartbeat, agitation or difficulty sleeping.

Pregnancy & breastfeeding

Do not use unless your doctor advises it.

Possible side effects

A faster heartbeat, restlessness, difficulty sleeping, dry mouth or headache. Rarely, raised blood pressure or allergic reactions.
