Telfast Allergy contains fexofenadine hydrochloride, a non-drowsy antihistamine used for the relief of symptoms associated with allergic rhinitis, such as hayfever. These 120mg film-coated tablets provide a highly effective solution for managing seasonal allergies, helping you get back to your day without the discomfort of hayfever symptoms.

Key Benefits of Telfast Allergy

  • Fast-Acting Relief: Designed to target and alleviate the core symptoms of hayfever.
  • Comprehensive Symptom Control: Fexofenadine relieves sneezing, itchy/runny nose, and itchy, red, watery eyes.
  • Non-Drowsy Formula: Clinical studies show that Telfast Allergy is unlikely to cause drowsiness or affect your ability to drive.
  • 24-Hour Coverage: A single daily dose provides around-the-clock protection against allergens.

How to use

How to Take Telfast Allergy

For the best results, always take this medicine exactly as described in the leaflet or as your doctor or pharmacist has told you.

  • Adults and Children (12+ years): The recommended dose is one tablet (120 mg) daily.
  • Administration: Take your tablet with a drink of water.
  • Consistency: If you stop taking Telfast Allergy earlier than planned, your symptoms may return.
  • Important Timing: If you take an indigestion remedy containing aluminium or magnesium, leave about 2 hours between taking that and your Telfast Allergy tablet, as it can reduce the amount of medicine absorbed by your body.

Driving and using machines

Telfast tablets are unlikely to affect your ability to drive or operate machinery. However, you should check that these tablets do not make you feel sleepy or dizzy before driving or operating machinery.

Who Cannot Take Telfast Allergy?

Do not take Telfast Allergy if:

  • You are allergic to fexofenadine or any of the other ingredients in this medicine (such as croscarmellose sodium or titanium dioxide).
  • You are breast-feeding.

Talk to your doctor or pharmacist before taking Telfast if you:

  • Have problems with your liver or kidneys.
  • Have or have ever had heart disease, as fexofenadine may lead to a fast or irregular heart beat.
  • Are elderly.
  • Are pregnant, unless considered essential and advised by your doctor.

Like all medicines, Telfast Allergy can cause side effects, although not everyone gets them.
