Dosage & Administration Guide

The correct dose of Tipol 500mg is determined by the patient's weight and age.

• Dosing Interval: You must allow at least 6 hours between each dose.
• Application Instructions:

1. Wash your hands thoroughly before and after use.
2. Empty your bowels before insertion if possible.
3. If needed, warm the suppository in your hands or dip the tip in warm water to improve lubrication.
4. Gently insert the suppository deeply into the back passage (rectum), pointed end first.
5. Remain still for a few minutes to ensure the suppository stays in place.

Safety & Medical Precautions

• Allergy Warning: Contains soya lecithin. Do not use if you or your child are allergic to soya or peanuts.
• Liver & Kidney Health: Consult a doctor before use if there are existing liver or kidney problems.
• No Multi-Dosing: Never take Tipol with any other paracetamol-containing products (such as Panadol, Solpadeine, or Calpol).
• Storage: Store in a cool, dry place below 25°C in the original packaging to protect from light.

"For older children who might be anxious about using a suppository, we recommend the 'side-lying' position with knees tucked up for the most comfortable insertion. Tipol 500mg is a fantastic 'rescue' medication for post-operative recovery or during a severe flu when swallowing tablets is painful.
